Inexact infinite products of nonexpansive mappings with nonsummable errors

Simeon Reich, Alexander J. Zaslavski

Abstract

Given a sequence of nonexpansive mappings which map a
closed subset of a complete metric space into the space, we study the
convergence of its inexact innite products to its common xed point set
in the case where the errors are nonsummable. Previous results in this
direction concerned nonexpansive self-mappings of a complete metric
space and inexact iterates with summable errors.

Keywords

Complete metric space, xed point, inexact innite product, nonexpansive mapping.
