A Fractional Generalization Of The Kinetics Of Fixed-Bed Adsorption

Arman Aghili

Abstract

In this article, the author presents the new approach for the solution of the time fractional kinetics of fixed-bed adsorption model. As far as we know, there is no closed-form analytical expression for this kind of partial fractional differential equation. Extending classical mechanics to a fractional case is an example of fractional calculus. The Laplace transform is used to obtain the exact solutions of the model. The obtained results reveal that, the operational method is reliable. Examples are also provided.

Keywords

Laplace transform; Bessel function; Fixed-Bed Adsorption; Fractional delay differential equation.
