

Fixed points of functional Meir-Keeler contractions
Abstract
A fixed point result involving functional
Meir-Keeler conditions is established
over metric spaces.
Further, it is shown that
the related statements in
Amini-Harandi
[Fixed Point Th. Appl., 2012, 2012:215],
and
Wardowski
[Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., 146 (2018), 1585-1598]
are ultimately reducible to such techniques.
